Open City Board Positions

The Pensacola-Escambia Human Relations Commission (HRC) and the Code Enforcement Board (CEB) both have open positions which must be filled. The CEB has a total of four vacancies and the HRC has one vacant spot. Interested persons should read further, download the appropriate application, and contact a City Council member by Friday, September 12, 2008.

First Friday Live After Five

Soulhaven is the featured band for September's First Friday, September 5th from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. on Romana Street, where the road will be blocked off between Palafox and Jefferson. Soulhaven’s music could be described as funk, rock, and R&B. Ample parking is available in the Jefferson Street Parking Garage and many great restaurants are within walking distance.
